Get ready SW Orlando Trader Joe’s is about to open in the Dr. Phillips area! Those familiar cool Hawaiian shirts will worn by 100 employees of the new Trader Joe’s located at 8323 W. Sand Lake Road grand opening on April 12, 2015. Trader Joe’s opened their first store way back in 1958 and you may remember the name of the original store call Pronto Markets, then in 1967 the founder Trader Joe himself changed the name to what we now know as Trader Joe’s. Trader Joe’s is known for their hard-to-find, innovative packaged, tasty good foods under the “Trader Joe’s” name! Trader Joe’s is also known for their great prices and good values which means, no sales, no special cards to swipe, no clubs to join and no gimmicks! Be prepared, as the crowds are expected to be huge during the first few days as was with the grand opening of the Winter Park store not long ago! Orange County Sherriff’s department is already set up to help direct traffic! Welcome to the neighborhood Trader Joe’s!!
